Animal Science Homeschool Classes

Learn by doing with Cathy’s Critters Animal Science Homeschool Program

At Cathy’s Critters, we believe the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty. Listen. Touch. Smell. Investigate.

Our on-site homeschool curriculum encourages a child’s innate curiosity in the natural world.

We provide hands-on and age-appropriate learning about animals, plants, and their ecosystems.

Our 12 class course meets once a week for two hours at our farm.

We cap each class at 12 students, so enroll early to ensure your child’s seat.

Tuition for a semester is $400 per student.

Sibling discounts are available.

Animal Sciences Course

This course lays the groundwork for future science education by catalyzing a child’s natural curiosity. Each month we will focus on a specific species; equine, reptile, and avian.

Students will learn through observation in an outdoor environment that encourages open-ended exploration of the farm’s environment. They will learn teamwork and critical thinking by solving fun challenges individually and as a group.

All material will have age-appropriate adaptations for the different ages who are co-learning.

Students will also reap the cognitive and emotional benefits of human-animal interaction.
