Cathy's Critters was founded on the idea that our exotic and farm animals might bring joy and education to children and families across the DFW area the same way that they bring joy and education to our own families in our own backyard.
Over the years we have delighted thousands of parents, children, preschools, birthdays, festivals and churches in the area and have been nominated by D Magazine's Reader's Choice survey as one of the best children's entertainers in Dallas.

Cathy’s Critters is proud to re-introduce H.A.I.E.A. (Human Animal Interaction & Education Advocates), a non-profit that was established in 2015 by Kevin and Cathy Smith, owners of Cathy’s Critters.
Together Cathy’s Critters and H.A.I.E.A. will be working in partnership to further the education of human/animal interaction.
H.A.I.E.A.’s purpose is to educate and improve the lives of both animals and humans by using positive and healthy interactions.
We are open to the public Saturdays & Sundays!!

Cups of feed $3 Each
You can purchase tickets at the Check-In stand upon your arrival. We accept cash or credit.
Open Farm will include our Petting Zoo, Outback Tour, Exotic Animals, Pony Rides, and more!
Closed toed shoes are highly recommended when visiting as we have large animals on the farm.

* PLEASE READ! INCLIMENT WEATHER POLICY *
We will close when it’s rainy or cold so that the animals can be kept indoors. If on either day, the hourly forecast as of 6am calls for temperatures of 35F or below, or a high chance of rain during at least half of our opening hours, we will be closed on that day.
If the temperature is over 100 degrees, we will reduce our Open Farm hours to 9am-12noon.
